DK BOXING – Gym Rules
1. General Conduct
- 
Appointment-Only: All visits must be booked in advance through our website or app. No casual walk-ins. 
- 
Punctuality: Arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled session. Late arrivals = 20 burpees. 
- 
Respect: Treat coaches, teammates, and staff with respect. No abusive language or disruptive behaviour. 
- 
Clean Space: Return all gear and equipment to its place. Keep personal belongings in designated storage areas. 
2. Safety
- 
Mandatory Wraps & Gloves: Hand wraps and boxing gloves must be worn for all training sessions. 
- 
Coach Supervision: Sparring, partner drills, or advanced techniques are only allowed under coach supervision. 
- 
Proper Use Only: Equipment must be used safely and only for its intended purpose. If unsure, ask a coach. 
- 
Health Check: If you feel unwell or injured, notify the coach immediately. 
3. Hygiene
- 
Shoes: Indoor training shoes only. Outdoor shoes are not permitted on the training area/ring. 
- 
Attire: Proper athletic clothing required. No jeans, sandals, or unsafe attire. 
- 
Personal Hygiene: Come clean and fresh. Strong odours (sweat, perfume, cologne) should be avoided. 
- 
Equipment Care: Bring your own wraps/mouthguard. Shared gear must be wiped down after use. 
4. Membership & Payments
- 
Active Membership Required: Only active members with valid passes/packages may train. 
- 
Cancellations: Must be made at least 12 hours before class to avoid losing a session. 
- 
Frozen Memberships: Allowed only under the terms in your membership contract. 
- 
Non-Transferable: Memberships and passes cannot be shared. 
5. Sparring (Advanced Only)
- 
Coach Approval: Sparring is by invitation/approval only. 
- 
Protective Gear: Headgear, mouthguard, and 14oz/16oz gloves are mandatory. Optional (but strongly recommended): Groin protection (Must bring your own). 
- 
Control: Sparring is for learning, not fighting. Excessive aggression will result in suspension. 
- 
Respect the Referee: The coach’s word is final during sparring. 
6. Code of Respect
- 
Support your teammates’ progress—no egos. 
- 
Celebrate effort, not just results. 
- 
Remember: Only ~1% of people in the world train in boxing—be proud, stay humble. 
7. Remember - Always Have Fun

Love your passion.

Love the sport.
