Intro to Boxing (4 people). 

Beginner Friendly · Fundamentals Focus

 

This class is designed for those who are new to boxing or want to rebuild their fundamentals from the ground up.

What you’ll work on

  • Proper stance & footwork

  • Basic punches and combinations

  • Defense fundamentals

  • Pad work & controlled partner drills

No experience needed.

This is where you learn boxing the right way, without being rushed or overwhelmed.

Mixed Experience · Technical Development (Sparring Included: Optional)
 
Our core training class. Beginners and experienced members train together — with coaching adjusted to each level.
 
What you’ll work on

  • Footwork & movement patterns

  • Combinations and pad work

  • Defensive reactions & timing

  • Distance control and ring awareness

  • Controlled technical sparring (coach-guided, optional)
     

Beginners continue building fundamentals, while experienced boxers focus on clean execution, sharper details, and applying skills in live, controlled situations.
Sparring is introduced gradually and always supervised, with intensity and pairings carefully managed by the coach.

Best for: Beginners with basics · Intermediate boxers · Ongoing skill development

Technical boxing drills taught in a small group environment at DK Boxing Richmond

Intermediate & Advanced (4 people). 

Experience Required · High-Level Focus
(Sparring Included)
 
This class is for boxers who already understand the basics and want to train with higher intensity, precision, and intent.

What you’ll work on

  • Advanced combinations & angles

  • Defensive transitions

  • Ring control & decision-making

  • Higher-paced pad work and drills

  • Technical and situational sparring (coach-supervised)

 
Coaching is more technical and detail-oriented, with an emphasis on applying skills under pressure.

Sparring is a regular part of this class and is conducted with controlled intensity, clear objectives, and coach-directed pairings.

You’re expected to understand fundamentals, respect training partners, and train with purpose.

Best for: Intermediate · Advanced · Competitive-minded boxers
